Hello! Welcome to the Evanston Arts Camps POETRY CAMP BLOG! All year long I look forward to spending time with campers in Evanston writing poetry, playing theater and performance games, jumping rope, skipping stones in hopscotch grids and chanting all the old-school rhymes, Library Wednesdays and Beach Fridays, and most of all, reading and publishing their amazing work!
Camp begins this year on June 15. Three days a week, I'll be publishing their words, as well as photos from our outrageous adventures. Please check back frequently to be inspired, amazed, and simply blown away by the creativity of these young writers.
